Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Workers). When you access the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address) to deliver and secure the page. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. For transfers to the United States we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), under which Cloudflare, Inc. is certified (Art. 45 GDPR — adequacy decision).

Reach measurement

We record anonymous page views (requested path, referrer, date) without cookies and without storing IP addresses or other personal data. Attribution to individuals is not possible.

Use of artificial intelligence (AI-generated content)

To support user communication and internal analysis, AI-based services are used on this website:

• Project assistant (chat): The chat in the lower right uses Cloudflare Workers AI to answer frequently asked questions about our engineering services (project coordination, bridge erection engineering, BIM consulting) and, additionally, about our digital tools. Answers are generated in real time by a language model and serve only for initial orientation. Legally binding statements on prices, deadlines or specific project offers are made individually and in writing only.
• Anonymous statistics: For usage analysis, page views are recorded in aggregated, anonymous form. No IP addresses, cookies or personal characteristics are stored.
• Internal weekly report: A weekly report is generated internally by an AI agent and sent only to the operator (Sékou Sawadogo). No personal user data is processed.

Data processing by Cloudflare Workers AI: Chat queries are transmitted to Cloudflare, Inc.'s AI infrastructure for processing. For the legal basis for transfers to the United States, see the Hosting section. Chat histories are not stored in a personally identifiable way.

Contact and project enquiries

For enquiries by email or via the assistant, we process the information submitted (e.g. name, email, project description) to handle the enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Emails to info@sawa.engineering are forwarded to our inbox via Cloudflare Email Routing.

Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
